• Development and promotion of Hindi as pan-India and global language (in accordance with Article 351 of the Constitution)
• Teaching Hindi at multi-levels, research on linguistic and literature, comparative linguistics, teaching Hindi to teachers, course design at various levels and conducting examination at different levels
• Creation of Hindi Encyclopedia in terms of different languages and Loksbdkosh. Publication of magazines and books based on various aspects of Hindi teaching.
• Provide fellowship, scholarships and prizes and conduct seminars, exhibitions, workshops, renewal programs. Encourage Hindi promoting institutions and authors from various fields.
